Abstract

Abstract In this work performed monitoring and data acquisition of a direct current motor with permanent magnets, Mavilor brand over 20 years, for which there is insufficient information, so, is not an easy task. The primary interest of this work is get the different variables of a permant magnet motor of a hot-twisting machine, using commercial instrumentation technologies (National Instruments) and data acquisition software (LabVIEW), this will provide the motor parameters. This will achieve an efficient machine and updated at different operating conditions that will be helpful for hot torsion tests and thus able to study the plastic behavior of materials.
