The main objective of this thesis is the theoretical analisis of the spontaneous capillary rise and the equilibrium heights in capillary annular conical spaces of viscous liquids. Here the lubrication theory was used in order to understand the behavior of a rollerball pen and and fundamental aspects of the capillary flows when the capillary, viscous and gravity forces compete among them and the local cross-section of the capillary is reduced.
