Resumen
Designing a comprehensive training project, materialized in several strategies, which potentiate
the current management process from upper secondary education principals to a more human
institutional management, is the main objective of the present work.
This project maintains a focus on competencies, beginning from complexity propoused by Edgar
Morin, in the sense of taking into account the integrity of the human, considering USE principals
not only as a knowledge manager but as human beings in every aspect of their public and private
life.
A set of areas of opportunity were identified and must be addressed in order to strengthen the
current management process.
1. The current training model for USE principals is oriented in the knowledge of institutional
regulations, strategic planning, and leadership, among others. Although they are important
to the management process but not sufficient.
2. The current management process of USE principals holds grueling workdays causing
stress, lack of physical activity and out of hours feeding; unhealthy lifestyles that
ultimately may have a very high cost with irreversible consequences.
3. Bridge the generation gap between principals and the social youth representations in USE
institutions.
Finally, it aims to achieve a comprehensive training to impact all areas of management, helping
to build a culture of self-care and healthy lifestyles in the USE institutions, principals being the
main agents of this transformation.
