dc.description.abstractThis thesis proposes analyze, design, implement and evaluate a model whose architecture offers a set of services to users in an environment with the goal to facilitate their tasks or activities to be developed within it, through a converged network infrastructure and their mobile devices. The thesis, details the analysis and design of the proposed model, thus obtaining a functional, flexible and stable model architecture, which allows deploy to the model later. The implementation of the proposed model takes place in an educational environment in the Masters of Mobile Computing laboratory in the Escuela Superior de Cómputo (ESCOM) within the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), where the model is evaluated by the students, professors and some visitors in a converged network infrastructure (using technologies: Wi-Fi and Ethernet), they receive multiple services (Systems: SAES , AAVAE, Webescom, Videoteca and WebConference) to the development of their activities through their mobile devices (laptops, smart phones, tablet pc's) according their user profile. Finally, the conclusions based in the results of evaluation of the proposed model are presented to determinate if the principal and specific objectives at the beginning of investigation were accomplished.
