In this work, besides being an introduction to new technologies such as thermoelectric generators, solid state, or Peltier modules, is an experimental analysis to determine the behavior of a commercial Peltier thermoelectric module as a thermoelectric generator, the analysis in this paper , focuses on the thermoelectric module performance and efficiency. But deleting items like fans, that creates a greater temperature differential and spending potential. Constructed a test bed, which can be used with any other thermoelectric module, it contains a heat source (electric resistance regulated). We measured the output voltages of thermoelectric module thermograms were taken in each test, to detect temperature differences at the ends of the thermoelectric module. With these results, we analyzed the irreversibility’s using a mathematical model, and obtained the net efficiency of the thermoelectric module, because the manufacturer usually provides data using forced ventilation by increasing the efficiency of the thermoelectric generator.
