It was determined the composition and distribution of the Arachnidae on crops and weeds, on pumpking (Calabaza de castilla, Calabacita de bola), bean, chilipepper (Chile Puya, Chile ancho), oat, sorghum and cabbage, in different municipalities at Durango state. Sampling allowed the collect of 126 specimens classified in five ecological guilds and seven families; where Araneidae and Thomisidae had the greater number of specimens for each type of vegetation. Families Anyphaenidae, Dictynidae Lycosidae, Salticidae and Tetragnathidae, had lower abundance according to the number of net collected specimens (sampling unit by type of vegetation: 50 sweeps). Whittaker similarity index was calculated. Diversity on family number, the distribution and dominance, shows good habitat quality and available food (insects), on crops and edge vegetation, being the similarity index significative on crops.
