dc.description.abstractRegional development in Mexico acquires singularities that reflect both their different stages through which has passed, as for their diverse approaches and intervention policies in the territory, according to available natural resources and the needs and interests of different social groups economic, that resulted in territorial planning ways with different results and to be reviewed through case studies, as addressed by this work Apaxco municipality in the State of Mexico, but through a regional perspective, it means, in an open relationship with its context. For this reason, this paper aims to analyze socio-economic and territorial situation in the town of Apaxco, in general, and in particular to identify those particular regional development and environmental review of its territorial planning.
