This work presents the design, simulation and experimental development of a topology using switched capacitor to feed a LED lamp to street lighting. The designed and tested circuits aim to feed a LED tubular lamp with power of 23 W. The lamp is composed by 96 power LEDs, with average current of 75 mA each. The use of switched capacitor provides reduction of size and weight to the driver. The experimental results prove the project methodology, once they show the expected values and characteristics. Two converters were experimentally tested using the switched capacitor technic, one of which is unprecedented in the literature (it comes from other two converters in cascade). The power circuit of the converters were projected to fit inside the lamp and to present an LEDs current ripple below the recommended ripple limits. The experimental results show that the output current agrees with the recommendation IEEE 1789 - 2015 (ripple under 19,2%), with efficiency of 80 and 87%, allowing to the standard IEC 61000-3-2 for power under 25 W. Many experimental results are shown in order to verify the converters project and the correct operation of converters based in switched capacitor.
