dc.description.abstractThis study discusses about the Democratic Management and considers this as a way to change the outdated teaching practices and are still part of teaching. Bring in your physical education context as an example, before the other disciplines that need changes, they still find themselves in the traditional method. Showing its history, pedagogical approaches and trends esportivista and hygienist, organization of curriculum, forms of organization and management of the school environment as a form of democratic changes in teaching practices of the municipal schools of the city of Ibirapuitã. Seeking the presence of community and teamwork, and the bringing a democratic administration for schools, also continuing education as an important and indispensable means for these changes.
