A produção de conhecimento sobre a internação compulsória em periódicos brasileiros

Abstract

To verify the state of knowledge involving the subject of compulsory hospitalization and use of psychoactive substances in Brazilian periodicals. It is a research to update the main themes of compulsory hospitalization in the texts published between 2013 and 2018. We searched the articles in Portal Capes, based on the keywords: compulsory hospitalization and drugs. We analyzed 18 articles published in Brazilian journals. The methodology of thematic analysis was used by condensing information that gave rise to three major themes. The unstructured family as the cause of abusive / compulsive use of psychoactive substances. The biased form as the media communicates about the user. The place of talk of users in scientific productions. The state of knowledge reaching from the analyzed works can be used to direct other studies, especially epidemiological data on the efficacy of compulsory hospitalization and the need for constructions that consider ethnic-racial issues.
