Uma alternativa didática para o estudo de prismas no ensino médio com applets construídos no GeoGebra

Aiming to analyze the benefits that applets built on the software of dynamic mathematics – GeoGebra – can bring to the teaching and learning process of students form high school on the topic of Prisms. This work shows a didactic alternative in the study of this content, purposing, through interactivity, a facilitation in the comprehension of the calculation of Prisms surfaces and volumes. These constructions aim to facilitate mainly the understanding related to its nomenclature, planning, polygons quadrature and the Principle of Cavalieri. For this analysis, a planning was elaborated which resulted in three lessons, lasting two hours each, which were done in a State School of High School, in the city of Santa Maria – RS. The students were invited to participate in the planning application in the classes conter shift. The participation happened in an active way, avoiding the memorization of formulas and valuing the logical reasoning. As a result, there is the conviction that the use of technological resources, as GeoGebra, make a difference for an efficient learning, providing from the interaction and the moves done with the applets, that the concepts become more evident for the students.
