This work aims to analyze the construction process of homophobic hate speeches in the comments in publications on the official Facebook page of Congressman Jean Wyllys, listing what elements used in the construction of this hate speech, and analyze the dynamics of interaction and conversation of the page and the deputy position before the speeches. Homosexuality has been a recurrent agenda on various communication channels, which brings up the process of legitimation of the LGBTQIA minority, showing not only the side that supports the equality and human rights, but also opinions against the movement proposed. Here we analyze that the homophobic hate speech arises from fundamentalists assumptions of opinion leaders, who seek to impose beliefs and ideologies to individuals who do not identify with them. In this sense, this work is relevant per addressing homophobic hate speech in the communication field, analyzing the expression of freedom of precepts intrinsically linked to the hateful speeches delivered there. The methodology used was a case study and based on a qualitative research, trying to understand, through network analysis ego and holistically, the inherent processes the page. We managed to list characteristics of hateful speeches on the page in question, separating them into three categories: (i) hateful of a religious nature; (ii) hateful heteronormative; (iii) hateful with incitement to violence and death. It was also possible highlight the educational position of deputy, on your page, when dealing with issues related to human rights.
