dc.description.abstractIn 2012, the law nº. 12.594 was created, which established the SINASE (National System of Socio-Educational Services), regulating the implementation of socio-educational measures to adolescents who practices infractions. The legislative text attributes as municipal competence the creation and maintenance of the Municipal System of Socio-Educational Services, in order to comply regionally with the provisions which features. The Municipality of Ibirubá-RS is in the initial phase of this deployment, and this paper examined if it is being fulfilled by the municipality satisfactorily. It was first held brief explanation of social information of the municipality, then verifying what the law 12.594 requires and performed local research to see if it is being fulfilled properly. It was concluded that the said municipal system is in implementation phase, having a great challenge in the future, to comply with it in an effective and practical way .
