dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a study conducted in 2012 in two schools located in the municipality of Santa Maria - RS. Aiming to understand how managers perceive and interdisciplinary work within the school context. To this end, we used a qualitative research study and as an instrument for data collection was chosen questionnaire with open questions applied to the management team managers and teachers managers in order to understand what their main challenges in interdisciplinary work. After this step relate employees' responses to the theoretical framework that provided support for this research. With this study we found that employees consider important this work, but has trouble putting it into practice.
