This paper presents a study on the implementation of Law 12527 of November 18th, 2011, Law on Access to Information in the Ministry of Justice and related entities. The research shows up to be relevant and highlights the impact that the new access law brings to public institutions, unveiling the scenario where these are in relation to filing public policy. The research approach is qualitative, and for its realization the specific method used was the case study. Through bibliographical studies, documents research, questionnaires, besides the use of institutional electronic portals and the Network of Citizens Information Services of the Ministry of Justice. This study showed the actions taken by the Ministry of Justice and its related entities for the implementation of Law No. 12.527/2011. In general aspects, the agency serves efficiently and appropriately to the objectives of the Law on access to information, regarding active and passive transparency. Noting that the institution innovated by introducing the Network Citizen Information Service, contemplating all units, agencies and entities that make up the structure of MJ. Furthermore, we tried to systematize and document all activities performed during the period, in order to monitor and track the performance of SIC and SIC Sector-Central. The measures aimed to streamline and improve the information flow, as well as awareness of servers and employees of the institution, besides, the immediate supply of the required information.
