Abstract

Currently the School Management is gaining emphasis when it comes to education. It is not today that this topic has been studied and researched many authors are concerned with the development of education and the interference and involvement of management in the teaching learning process. Thus, it is essential to understand the role and the relevance that the manager has at school for the proper development of teamwork and organization within the institution. The school manager must always aim to democratic and participatory, where faculty, staff and community have significant management functions, feel valued and co-responsible for the teaching-learning process. For this to happen it is essential that the manager is flexible, ethical, has a spirit of collectivity, be innovative and open to new ideas, acting as a true mediator, organizer of school processes. Having as its main objective the improvement of teaching and learning, so that it becomes a critical know, transformer, but mostly it's quality and to generate good results.
