dc.description.abstractThis article is a monographic analysis on the textual production of deaf children in order that the same has first knowledge of sign language and English the second in the written form. Language teaching should be introduced and acquired as soon as possible but their development may be delayed or permanently impaired; made sure that this can be done by sign language. There is no evidence that use of a sign language inhibits the acquisition of speech. The learning process of a deaf student can not base the greater the importance of a language, whether English or sign language, the ideal and necessary is the co-existence of these languages, and the awareness that the same had different functions, it is known that for the deaf is the first language of signs and the second English language. It is essential to remember that the teacher, knowing the needs, interests of their students and the characteristics of school context, outline the best path to follow to promote the development of children.
