dc.description.abstractOne of the major issues surrounding the school environment is the practice of reading and writing and the pursuit of its social function. And in today's society the use of technological resources has been taking increasing space in aid of teaching practices. In view of the media as an extra resource in the classroom, was performed to produce a newscast in a class of fourth year, in order to develop skills that enable the development of writing, as well as the encouragement of reading practice. Other issues will be addressed as the development of logical reasoning, cooperation, creativity, critical sense. After the time of submission of the newscast, can realize the students' interest for writing texts, reading news in the classroom brought from home. And this process has become part of everyday life of the learners in a natural way and not imposed.
