dc.description.abstractThe school library has been space in schools and conquering new possibilities for reader training. It is through its activities that students are allowed to explore the most diverse genres of reading and writing possibilities, promoting literary culture and research tools. This paper presents the report of experience of reorganization actions and activities carried out in a public school library, and has as the main objective the reading mediation in an effective way, in order to provide literary development in elementary school students born in the digital age and unassuming in the library space. We seek therefore to analyze the reading strategies in the school, the role of the school library and the reading mediators, adding to this the new media that we can use to promote the training of readers, based on the approach of the historical- cultural evolution from reading, writing and libraries to the Digital Age.
