Adolescentes usuários de substâncias psicoativas: revisão de literatura

Abstract

The consumption of psychoactive substances among adolescents is a serious public health problem and has become a subject much discussed by our society. This has led researchers to seek a better understanding about the theme in question. In reality experienced by residents in CAPS ad, treatment for abuse of teenage drug comes as an important topic to be researched. In this sense, we performed an integrative review in databases Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS) and Medical Literature analysisand Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) in October and November 2014, in order to understand and analyze the scientific production on the theme of psychoactive substance users teenagers. This research also served to support the research project, which aimed to meet the design professionals working in the child protection agency and the judiciary about the care network adolescents user of psychoactive substances and carry out an educational activity with professionals working in network care adolescents user of psychoactive substances from the results obtained in the research. In analyzing the issue of teenage users of psychoactive substances, this study helped identify some characteristics of this population and its relation to the consumption of such substances. With this, it is expected that this study contributes to the understanding of the phenomenon in this group and thereby assist in planning prevention and treatment geared to these teenagers.
