Webquests como estratégia didática: possíveis contribuições para a formação de professores

This article discusses the possible contributions of Webquests to the formation of
teachers. It discusses the development of a Webquest in a 2nd semester class of Pedagogy
course at distance in which the author of this article works as a tutor with the teacher and other
tutors. The aim of the proposal was that students could discuss current issues in education and
know the methodology of research on the Internet Webquest, accomplishing this task. It
investigates the possibilities and limitations of the working with Webquests, its planning and
execution, developing a case study. It is emphasized the Webquest potential to promote learning,
collaborative work and critical, creative use of the resources offered by the Internet.
