The school management is a topic addressed in Brazilian education
historically, it relates to the school context. This study encompassed issues
pertaining to financial management practices and the importance of planning for
these practices. Having established the need for better knowledge management
practices and how the management team develops the plan developed research to
answer the following research question: What is the need for partnership between
school management and planning? To answer this question stands aimed at
investigating the importance of planning to be present in school management
practices and specific objectives as happens check the planning of school
management in a public school in the state; analyze the understanding of managers
on planning and on school management, school management planning and
conceptualizing; describe the contributions that the plan provides the management
team of the school investigated. The survey was configured as a field research
descriptive, qualitative approach. From the data analysis it was noticed that the
school is moving to a democratic management as soon as the school already
demonstrates concern for the community with actions that involve participatory
planning and shared decisions. Therefore, search happen as management practices
and planning helped understand more fully the context investigated, and analyze the
current trend of school management involves the development of management plans
and participatory-democratic.
