dc.description.abstractThis work presents a research on the main attributions of the pedagogical coordinator in the democratic management of the Early Childhood Schools. The research problem consisted in analyzing the main functions and tasks carried out by the Pedagogical Coordinator, being seen as an articulator in the construction of the management, emphasizing how its relation with the teacher can contribute to the democratic management. The methodology used was a qualitative approach, encompassing sources such as the texts used throughout the course of specialization, bibliographical references, interviews with pedagogical coordinators and daily observation. Thus, it was possible to perceive that the pedagogical coordinator as part of the management team and the school management, has the role of mediating relations, motivating and encouraging the group to achieve the defined objectives and collaborate in the construction of Democratic Management.
