dc.description.abstractThis article presents a review of learning objects and the importance of its use in teaching mathematics. After describes the construction of the learning object "Show of measurement units", whose objective was facilitate the process of teaching-learning of content of measurement units. The object was used with two classes of 6th grade in public schools in Arroio de Tigre - RS, when the students interacted with the object. After that time, students answered a questionnaire evaluation and opinion of content and the graphical presentation of the object. The analysis of responses, conclude that it can be considered an educational tool important to contextualize the teaching-learning of measurement units using the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Moreover, that object contributed to the construction of knowledge, as appreciated by the student bringing the error to restructure their concepts from the new attempt. After validating the object, it is suggested to prepare a guide for teachers.
