dc.description.abstract | This thesis considers two main areas: the evolution of the struggle for agrarian
reform and the process of knowledge construction technique used by the accessory.
It intends to evaluate the different methods used by the extension and make the
background on the potential and limiting factors encountered in the implementation of
methodological tools in work with families of the Nova Aliança settlement in the city of
Tupanciretã-RS, which currently has 17 rural settlements reaching approximately 700
families settled. The history of settlements in the state of Rio Grande do Sul shows
that access to land provides employment and income generation, housing, food,
school and improvement in quality of life of the beneficiaries, but also shows that the
social transformations in the field point to need for professionals capable of
understanding the realities of different people. It leads to a process of sustainable
rural development, based on the democratization of access to land and the
potentiation of the human capacity to make productive land structure. In this regard,
technical assistance to small farmers and peasants, regarded as a key government
policy for the equitable development of the field, has been pursuing the construction
of participatory methodologies, training extension agents to go beyond the mastery of
techniques, making them educators in an attempt to make the "learned to become
seized." The work has always been a dialogical aspect reaffirmed step by step
creating a sequence which included visits to individual awareness, course, field day,
and bimonthly meetings, lectures, semi-structured interviews, discussion and final
assessment. | |
