dc.description.abstractThe present article aimed to analyze the use of videos in the teaching and learning process, with students from the 2nd year of a state school in Cachoeira do Sul, RS. This work approached the application of didactic videos complementing the content worked in the classroom, considering as a resource in which the children can understand and give meaning to the content that is developed daily from the objectives proposed in the School's Course Plan. The student ceases to be passive in order to become active in the process of acquiring knowledge, starting to develop skills and abilities such as: thinking, observing, learning, researching, stimulating reading, fostering collective and individual work with total autonomy.
