dc.description.abstractThis work present the research that went realized as requirement of Course Specialization Management in Archive, of Federal University of Santa Maria and Open University of Brazil. The purpose of this research is to study the profile of Servers Technical Administrators in Education UFSM with Archival Training. Search on the profile of these employees contributes to the knowledge of the socio and cultural characteristics, economic, vocational training and their future expectations, serving for the university to obtain useful information about the employees that make up your table. The survey ranks as descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. To that end, we conducted a survey of data through a questionnaire, which was applied to all servers identified with a degree in archival science. After collecting data that reached 75% of the population questioned was held to analyze the data and concluded that the servers are trained in archival mostly females, aged 46-55 years, not just sought to make new courses and perform most functions and / or archival activities, denoting that the archivist recognizes the need to update skills involved in the social environment in which it is inserted.
