dc.description.abstractThis article aims to investigate the culture of usage of the virtual learning community Conecta Unijuí by analyzing communities created since the year of its creation in 2007 until the year 2013, totaling 3,923 communities. The same were classified as virtual communities or virtual learning communities based on data from its creation, such as Title, Description (community goal), location (if it is still active or extinct), the year of its creation, the creator's name and the types of links which it has with Unijuí (technical-administrative, student, professor, external community, partner on EaD. The results showed that academic community was receptive to test and use the new tool, as well as it was found that over time the same became purely educational, although it is still operating with a small operational parcel towards being way to graduation committees, students support, dissemination of National Exams for Students (ENADEs, in Portuguese), elections, etc… and it is incorporated as one more way in which the actions of the University materialize.
