dc.description.abstractThe journey experienced through the years in the Social Communications – Editorial Production, didn’t leave any doubts about the direction to be followed in this work that aims at the creation of a digital book destined to children. For such a challenge, we deepened our knowledge with theoretical foundation, in order to explore new reading techniques for electronic devices through the insertion of new technologies, like the iPad (Apple) and Kindle (Amazon), which provide new horizons in relation to the publishing of books. The developed studies resulted in the e-book “Carlos, o Caracol Aventureiro”, which was projected from the viewpoint of the editorial design. We highlight the importance of this graphic editorial project and the user’s interface as the main focus of the digital book, just like its repeated developments on the project that follows.
