In recent years, grew the discussions about the need for new
mechanisms of participation of the school community in the process of
democratic management. From these aspects, this monograph
discusses the general considerations of democratic management in the
school context. The main objective of the study was to investigate how
the Pedagogical Political Project - PPP is an instrument of
decentralization and at the same time, how does the democratization of
the school environment. The theoretical framework is mainly based on
the ideas of: Lebanon (2001) and Luck (2006) among other authors,
since the literature is quite extensive. Our gaze focused more on the
scope of PPP in relation to the school environment. The bibliographical
research was developed in a school of the Municipal Education of
Fortaleza, located on the outskirts of the city. In this type of research,
working with the second reading on the subject of theoretical studies and
documents, supplemented by observations and informal interviews. The
analysis was built from the study of the PPP, where it was found that this
document represents a benchmark for the effectiveness of participative
management.
