The worldwide prevalence of childhood obesity is rapidly increasing in recent decades can be considered a worldwide epidemic. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze, from a systematic review, the scientific evidence of research in Brazil on the relationship between obesity and early childhood education as part of physical education. For this, we used the SciELO databases, Lilacs and Pubmed for as a tool for searching data. Based on the results identified four studies according to the inclusion criteria. Of the investigated studies it was observed that the increase in obesity among adolescents may be attributed to poor eating habits and inactivity. Thus, we highlight the importance of studies that seek interventions and implementation of effective programs to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity and thus contribute to a healthy adulthood.
