The rotomolding process, even though it is an old process, still has a low technological development compared to other polymer transform processes, such as injection and blowing. Even today, it is highly dependent on manpower and its manufacturing parks are restricted to differentiated products. Energy efficiency is reaching all sectors of society, such as residential, commercial and industrial. The aim of this research is to analyze, in a theoretical and simplified way, part of the rotomolding process, in order to establish a roadmap for energy auditing and subsequent identification of generic and common points of improvement of energy efficiency. In this way, a virtual process was structured and from this, the energy audit was done. Through this simulation, it was possible to define simple steps as: identification and quantification of energy consumers. Within the analysis stage it was possible to visualize the equipment responsible for the highest energy consumption and also financial. Finally, knowing where to focus on a higher level of attention, in order to achieve greater energy efficiency, an adequate energy performance indicator can be prepared, and focus on the process of continuous improvement. These improvements, in turn, focused on the adequacy and decrease of the consumption of LPG gas over the total of the polymer transformed.
