Resumen
This paper presents a bibliographical and documentary study about the external evaluation factors of Brazilian education and the internal evaluation based on the Pedagogical Project. External evaluation factors - such as Prova Brasil, ENEM, evidence of follow-up of the More Literacy Program, etc. - were analyzed. - and its impact on school reality, the contributions of the internal institutional evaluation for participatory school management and the identification of the management team's role in relation to internal evaluation, taking into account the Pedagogical Project, seeking to answer the following question: what is the role of management school in the process of internal institutional evaluation, from the Pedagogical Project? It was concluded that, in order to have a legitimate evaluation process, it is necessary to involve all segments of the school community in defining what should be prioritized in the evaluation. It is not external means that will guarantee the quality of education, since external evaluations alone serve solely for the ranking of schools and as a way of attesting that the government is complying with what it promised when signing the term of commitment with the Bank World. We need to strengthen the Pedagogical Project of our schools, inserting in them criteria for internal institutional evaluation, and options for using the data obtained through external evaluations.
