Abstract

Through print media, facts, events and history of a people are recorded. They serve to transmit information, express attitudes, reactions, thoughts and reflections of a person or a society. Thus, this paper aims to show how the print media are part of the school context of the Kindergarten Municipal Center Formiguinha in the city of Formigueiro, RS. Analyzing if the educators are prepared to carry out work involving the print media, its importance and its use in the school context. For this, a field research was carried out that involved educators and administrators of the mentioned school, which showed how the use of print media in classroom extends the capabilities of the human being whether physical or intellectual, and as well expands the ways educator can teach, helping the student to learn through strategies that encourage to research, to analyze and to build knowledge.
