dc.description.abstractThis work presents different aspects of journalism and environmental science in the Antarctic continent as an important tool to work with environmental education. Articles, interviews and reports from researchers and staff on the themes "History of the Earth through ice cores ", " The mismatch climate and its effects ", " Moving glaciers " , "Depopulation of penguins ", " The climatic imbalance and its effects on the population" were performed. The journey in Antarctica was very important to show the work of the scientists, how they develop their research there and to point some causes and consequences of climate change never before seen on the planet. Therefore, it was possible to observe the potentialities of the journalist working effectively as an environmental educator.
