The growth of steel as structural material and the development of more advanced computational programs, coupled with the advancement of technology, allow the numerical modeling and analysis of steel building structures to present greater precision and shorter processing time. In this context, structural analysis considering simultaneously the soil-structure interaction (SSI) and incremental analysis (IA) in multi-story steel buildings are presented. Three building models were designed in steel structures: 8 floors, 8 floors and transition beams, and 16 floors. These buildings were modeled in 2D (plane frame) and 3D (space frame) and analyzed by the Finite Element Method (FEM) using the software SAP2000® (version 18.0). In order to verify the contribution of each case, conventional analysis (CA), SSI, IA, IA with SSI, and the considerations in the deformation of the IA in the two models studied were modeled separately. The results are presented in terms of nodal displacements in each floor and stress on selected columns and beams. Finally, the results are compared with the results of CA, which is generally adopted in projects of this type of construction.
