dc.description.abstractThis article aims to explore the use of computers as a teaching resource in the teaching and learning of pupils with special educational needs in specialized educational services, within the context of reading and writing. Welcome software features activities that allow them greater student interaction with the resource, pointing to their cognitive, social and cultural development. The objective was to propose activities linked to the computer through a teaching project developed with students of specialized educational services and encourage the use of the software with the computer as a way to motivate and arouse students' interest in reading and writing. The methodology was qualitative, through an assumption-based planning, we used selected by the school, Internet software, and personal teacher to promote education and overcome the difficulties presented by the students. A case study was done and the expected results were achieved as students demonstrated significant advances in the development of reading, writing and logical reasoning. The selected software were of fundamental importance because it gave the students a lot of moments of interaction and concentration on the proposed activities.
