dc.description.abstractOne of the most important activities of the State, the patrolling and the preservation of public order are constitutional competence of the military police. As part of the direct administration of the State, the police becomes very important to know the legal implications of their activities, in particular the limits of its performance. For this, one must know the public/private dichotomy, to support a performance increasingly efficient police agencies. Accordingly, this paper seeks to ascertain, through qualitative research, with structured questionnaires, which the perception of thirty (30) military servers about the distinction between the public and private sector. Therefore, at first, we present some conceptual issues related to the topic in question. Then we analyze the responses given by (30) military servers, to ascertain whether they have knowledge of the distinctions between the public and the private sector, know and apply the principles of public administration, as well as understand that training military policeman contributes positively or negatively, to the teaching of subjects afetas public administration.
