Resumen
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have led to debates in the educational and technological area, as they reach new conceptions of teaching and learning in the virtual scenario. The wide discussion about the potential of MOOCs has stimulated institutions and research groups to develop open and large-scale courses using these course models. However, experiences in Brazil remain a major challenge. The present article aims at describing a panorama about the evolution, construction and experiences of the MOOCs, addressing firstly how the MOOCs are defined and characterized. Secondly, we investigate how MOOCs have been employed in Brazil and what the results obtained with their use. We conclude with an analysis of the pedagogical approaches in the construction of MOOCs and the challenges found in the construction of these courses. In this work, a Systematic Review of Literature was conducted, in which 14 scientific articles published on MOOCs were studied until May 2017. The results obtained demonstrate, in a practical context, the feasibility of using the principles of MOCCs to design learning in open courses And online. However, the need for a more meaningful pedagogical discussion in the preparation of proposals and future research is highlighted.
