The success of a film adaptation of a literary work depends, to some degree, of the amount of existing fans of the work and their enthusiasm related to the divulgation and the final result of the cinematographic product. The desires of these fans in an adaptation as well as theirimpressions, emotions and aspirations are expressed through Twitter, social network propitious to dialogue and free sharing of ideas. This research seeks to understand what is the relationship between the activity of the fans of The Hunger Games saga and the process of divulgation via Twitter from the film distributor Paris Filmes. Taking as inspiration the Grounded Theory proposed by Amaral, Fragoso and Recuero, were collected tweets of four profiles involved in the divulgation and awaiting of the premiere of the final movie in the saga, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, over the month of july 2015. The tweets were coded over three steps that led in to different interpretations of the same data, allowing that the particularities of the communication via Twitter between Paris Filmes and fans to be identified. It was observed that the distributor builds an informal and spontaneous relationship with its followers, taking advantage of this contact to promote the emotional engagement of fans and generate a significant involvement around the promotional material of The Hunger Games saga. Only a fine line differentiates the emotional and professional axes of the company publications, and is attached to this flexible approach one of the reasons for the success of the saga movies in Brazil.
