A educação matemática na percepção dos alunos no contexto da gestão escolar

This paper presents the perceptions of students regarding the teaching and
learning of the discipline of mathematics in the context of Principals in Schools of the
City of Guaíba - RS. In this approach, deficiencies were found, because the students
do not have a good use of what was taught and challenged in the classroom. The
reasons for this situation, although common, are not clear. But during the
development of research in elementary and high school for the purpose of
investigating and analyzing how students perceive mathematics education can
observe the main difficulties, which are: disinterest, discouragement, lack of
understanding and meaning of content. This paper aims to identify the causes of a
lack of discipline for students of mathematics, to observe the factors causing
interference in the teacher-student relationship and strategic methods of teaching so
that students have a better motivation and subsequent learning. Data for the study
were collected in groups of 8th grade of elementary school and 1. Year of high
school in a questionnaire, in which the questions were open and objective, relevant
to the topic of this monograph. After the questionnaire, the answers were analyzed
and separated graphically and quantitatively to completion and comparison with other
disciplines. In the search results have seen the issues regarding the approach to the
way classes are taught Mathematics and its acceptability to students, what students
expect the teacher to have an effective advantage, which the school's role in the
development of intellectual student and, finally, that a new methodology plus a good
teacher-student relationship could achieve more significant results in Mathematics in
the context of school management.
