Gestão e tecnologias: o papel do gestor na incorporação das tecnologias da informação e comunicação em uma escola do interior de Cachoeira do Sul

The present study presented here sets up an article on completion of Specialization in Information
Technology and Communication applied to Education, ODL system UAB, Federal University of Santa Maria,
in the second half of 2012. This article aimed to know how does the process management technologies in
school, and to verify the contribution of managers in this process. Starting from a case study, qualitative,
involving literature and as data collection instruments, interviews with teachers and students with the
questionnaire. The target audience of this research were teachers from 1st to 4th year students and the 3rd
and 4th years of elementary education at a public school inside the city of Cachoeira do Sul was found
through the study that despite the incentive of managers, teachers do not feel able to work with ICT in the
classroom. Cited as the main obstacles to physical structure, the lack of a teacher who works specifically in
the Digital Living Room and lack of knowledge and the technologies available. Thus, there is a need to invest
in the continuing education of teachers, so that they can be better prepared to teach their students through
educational digital technologies in context and autonomous, there might be contributing to an improvement acting classes.
