Segurança alimentar e nutricional: condicionalidades de saúde em mulheres beneficiárias do Programa Bolsa Família

Abstract

Food and nutrition as basic for the promotion and protection of health requirements , enable the full realization of the potential for growth and human development , quality of life and citizenship, this study presents the general objective evaluates the index for Food Safety and women beneficiaries of PBF , referenced in two regions of the ESF midwest and west of a municipality in the RS , as well as their health conditionalities in order to impact the quality of life of the subjects of this study . Data were processed and analyzed in Excel ® 2007 and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 15.0 ( SPSS ) . Present the sociodemographic profile and identify the conditions and ways of life of the subjects . This is an exploratory research . Women beneficiaries of Bolsa Família Santa Maria ( RS ) were studied and found high prevalence of obesity in women ( 67.5 % ) ; Most families ( 87.5 %) had food insecurity, and severe in 22.5 % . These findings demonstrate the need for integrated policies across education / health in primary care and programs to transfer income shares .
