dc.description.abstractThis paper addresses the public communication and virtual ombudsmen in federal public universities, with the overall objective of analyzing the public communication through the Virtual Ombudsman in these institutions. The specific objectives of the work is proposed to highlight the three ombudsmen structure, identify their roles and dynamics, check the compatibility of the structure with public communication assumptions and analyze the communication tools used by virtual ombudsman. The methodology used was documentary research from public information available on the websites of educational institutions. The work in question showed the structure of the ombudsman and deepened the analysis of the reports of the ombudsman studied in order to better understand the flow of public information to return to the citizen.
