Gestão de pessoas nas organizações públicas de saúde: revisão bibliográfica

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the bibliographic production in people management in brazilian public health organizations, from the year 2000 to 2010. As methodology it was used bibliographic research through 3 data sources: SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), Portal Nacional BVS Brasil em Saúde and LILACS (Latin- American and Caribean Literature in Health Science) all being part of BVS, using the descriptor “People management in public health”. The results were seven studies that met the requirements for inclusion and were selected for analysis. Management in public sector has been reformed over time seeking the optimization of public services in order to increase efficiency, while retaining the principle of fairness that guides the decisions in organizations. People who occupy management positions in public health organizations should be prepared to people management, searching the technical and behavioral skills necessary to perform the function.
