Resumen
Educational technologies evolve at every turn, as do students who attend school. It is believed, therefore, that education needs to keep up with this pace, being concerned with meaningful student learning and not only with obtaining information without understanding and critical analysis. Thus, considering the educational scope, we can include Assistive Technologies as a fundamental resource for the student's performance included in this study, being limited to the deaf student. To better understand this process, the terms accessibility, deafness and Assistive Technologies were conceptualized. Some technologies that may be used for pedagogical mediation with this student have been related, emphasizing that these are also accessible to colleagues and teachers listening, listing their functionalities and applicability. Finally, two technological resources were applied to the deaf student in elementary school, analyzing their difficulties and challenges in relation to these resources, and how the TA present in their daily life can assist them in the process of their learning and in the interaction with their colleagues and listening teachers. It can be concluded that Assistive Technologies can subsidize and contribute to rich learning situations that are different and accessible to all, provided they are inserted and exploited by teachers in their pedagogical practice. For this, it is necessary to know such technologies, as they will provide pedagogical accessibility and the widening of the knowledge of deaf students.
