Resumen
This work aims to develop a collection of textile prints for shoes inspired by the aesthetics of art deco jewelry, exploring as technique the stamping by sublimation, covering as a focus the surface design. The research appears to support an analysis of the models of women's footwear found in the market, comparing several patterns of prints currently available for the creation of new specimens, which can be purchased by footwear companies or by the female audience for the customization of old models . Based on a theoretical framework and methodology for the surface design project, addressing issues pertinent to the proposal, directing it to aesthetic-functional, semiotic and industrial aspects for the development of a collection endowed with meaning, which translates the theme explored . For the development of the proposal, we tried to organize the creative process adequately through Löbach's design methodology (2001), complemented with the theories of Baxter (1995). Through the objectives already mentioned, it was possible to study and restructure in a propitious manner the forms present in some pieces of the jewelry, providing a contemporary re-reading of the drawings, adapting the collection of prints to the market trends, exploring colors, textures and formats that better represent the concerned. The D'co collection, consisting of six prints, is divided into three lines, named "Casual D'co", "Urbain D'co" and "Fainé D'co", referring to information obtained throughout the search.
