A valorização dos profissionais da educação: a implantação do piso salarial

The study analyzes the professional development of teachers in public policy,
through textual analysis of the National Plan of Education (2001/2010) and Bill of
Law nº 8.035 which is running in the Congress relating the approach of the minimum
wage and its implementation. Through qualitative study of bibliographic imprint, we
sought to understand through the actions published on the web, how Midwest region
Counties of Rio Grande do Sul with a population density of more than 180,000
inhabitants have been organizing themselves in the consolidation for the deployment
of law nº 11.738 of 2008 which establishes the salary for the Magisterium nationwide.
For data analysis, it was necessary to understand the policies related to education in
Brazil, as well as municipal organic laws and the career plans of municipal
magisterial. The result of the research was that the appreciation of the professional of
education has evolved in some points concerning to the implementation of the
Minimum Wage Law nº 11.738 of 2008 in almost all municipalities surveyed, as due
to the investment budget and the cultural, social and political of each county, there
are still situations in which the dialogue with the Unions of Professionals is the path
taken to achieve the goal through the mobilization of the category.
