Educação inclusiva e políticas públicas: análise da gestão escolar e práticas inclusivas em escolas do município de Santa Maria

Resumen
This study has as the central theme the public policy related to scholar inclusion. The
main target was to understand the inclusion practices conducted in schools from the
actions being taken by managers and especial teachers of three schools in the city of
Santa Maria (RS). For this purpose, was used as a methodological strategy case
study with qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted. Stands
out the historical context of Especial Education and the studies about policies created
to inclusive education. The data were examined paying especial attention to the
managers’ and teachers’ views, as well as the actions planed in the pedagogical
projects. The conclusions focus in the democratic managing with the most important
point to the real inclusion of the students with especial needs, emphasizing the
importance of the work of all community (school and scholar community) to the
success of education initiatives.
