This work discusses the democratic management and the political-pedagogical project, with the central objective of analyzing how the process of re-elaboration of the Political Pedagogical Project has taken place, verifying to what extent the school management favored the democratic construction of this process in a unit of education. The research was carried out in a municipal public school in Alegrete - RS, and was developed through a case study, with PPP analysis and interviews involving the members of the School Council. The work consisted of two parts: the first consists of a literary review addressing the historicity of School Management and the various aspects of democratic management around the Political-Pedagogical Project. The second part consists of presenting the results of a case study. The research revealed that in the school studied PPP is elaborated collectively and there is an active participation of the school community in the management processes.
